CIPR Diploma
The CIPR Diploma in Public Relations is a Masters level qualification. It is a ten month course and PR Academy offers face to face classes in London and the Channel Islands*.

The Diploma is right for you if…
- You are an experienced PR professional without an industry specific qualification
- You are working in any field of Public Relations, for example media relations, internal communications, public affairs
- You want to learn about the strategic roles and functions of the public relations practitioner
What it costs and what you get
London centre: Tuition fees are £1,500 (+ VAT) paid directly to the PR Academy. This includes the textbook ’The Public Relations Digest’ compiled by the CIPR plus access to Questia (the world’s largest online library). CIPR Awarding Body fees: £950 (VAT zero rated) paid directly to the CIPR.
TOTAL COURSE FEE (Centre Course Fees + Awarding Body Fee) = £2,450 (plus VAT on tuition fee element)
Channel Islands*: Tuition fees are £1850 paid directly to the PR Academy. This includes access to Questia (the world’s largest online library). CIPR Awarding Body fee (VAT zero rated) paid directly to the CIPR.
TOTAL COURSE FEE (Centre Course Fees + Awarding Body Fee) = £2,800

Other things to know
Diploma graduates are eligible to become full members of the CIPR and a growing number of universities recognise the Diploma in respect of their Masters’ programmes.

Course dates
Autumn 2010
London centre: 2nd October, 23rd October, 13th November, 4th December, 5th February, 26th February and 7th May
This course takes place on Saturdays from 10am to 5pm at the Brunei Gallery, School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, Thornhaugh Street, Russell Square, London WC1H 0XG School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS)
Channel Islands*: 24th and 25th September on Jersey, 5th and 6th November on Guernsey and 4th and 5th February back on Jersey. The final unit (Unit 2.3) is delivered using the latest in collaborative online teaching (Elluminate) together with personal tutoring.
*Please note that the September dates are new and replace the October dates previously advertised – this has been requested by the local CIPR committee.
