PR Academy course award
We want to recognise and reward students who have achieved outstanding results and contributed to the body of PR knowledge.
The PR Academy course award recognises those students who have achieved an overall distinction on the face to face courses: the CIPR Diploma and Advanced Certificate.
The award is made each year in the spring/summer for those graduating the previous autumn and that spring. So, for 2008/09 those going forward for the award will be those students who studied during academic year 2007/2008 or who started their course in Jan/Feb 2008 (Advanced Certificate).
Eligibility
Where there is more than one overall distinction, an element of each student's work will be put before an independent judge or panel of judges who will select an overall winner. *
The award
Each winning student will receive a trophy and certificate.
PR Academy will publicise the award winner through media relations activity.
Judging criteria
The following judging criteria will apply where there is more than one overall distinction or the prize winner is being selected from a group of those with the highest mark.
- Original thinking: effective critique of accepted approaches to PR
- Presentation
- Writing style
*The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
