Liam FitzPatrick FCIPR

Liam has been in PR and Internal Communications since the mid 1980s and has worked in transport, aviation and the public and voluntary sectors as a consultant at GCI and Bell Pottinger and in-house at Marconi where was Global Head of Internal Communications during its financial restructuring.

He has provided corporate PR and internal communications advice to organisations as diverse as American Airlines, British Airways, the British Air Line Pilots Association, BP, The Childrens’ Society, CMS Cameron McKenna, Ernst and Young, KPMG, Novartis AG, Shell, The Post Office, The Royal College of Surgeons, Transport for London and Henderson Investors.

He lectures on stakeholders and change communications at several universities and he is a Special Advisor to the CIPR’s Internal Communication Group.

He is a Fellow of the CIPR and is accredited by the CIPR as a trainer. He has been involved with the CIPR’s Diploma qualifications from their beginning, as a lecturer, an examiner and a syllabus advisor. He set up the innovative Black Belt programme for training internal communicators.
